Navigating the Japa House Site

Japa House is accessible to everyone, and you can become a member by completing a Sign Up interface/form. 

Anyone can become a member of the Japa House platform.

In order to Join the Japa House family, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the website https://japahouse.com and Click on the Login button, and this should take you to the the page shown below

2. If you are an existing member, Sign In with your Username and Password. For new members, click on Registration and fill the necessary details.

3. To complete your profile details (Contact Info, Education, Hobbies, etc.), Click on the profile image ICON beside the hamburger ICON (three horizontal lines). Then the content (Profile, Settings, Groups, Log Out) of a dropdown is displayed.

4. On the next page that appears, scroll down and click on Edit to update your profile.

5. Fill in the blank fields in the Contact Info (Email, Phone, About Me, and Website), Education and Other Information (Country, Birthday, Education, Institution, Employment, and Social Media). Fill the blank fields in the Hobbies and Interests section (My Hobbies, Dating, Marital Status, Favourite TV Shows, Favourite Movies, Favourite Sports, Political Affiliation, Favourite Travel Destination, Favourite Meals, Favourite Fashion Brands, and Other Interests).  Please, click on the ‘Save Changes’ button at the end of each section.

NOTE: You can always change the visibility (Everyone, Only Me, All Members, and My Friends) status of some of your profile information (Contact Info, Education, and Hobbies).

6. The ‘Change Profile Photo’ or ‘Change Cover’ can be used to upload profile images.

7. Click the Sun/Moon button (up or down) on the right to Change the Background of the Pages to either Black or White.

8. To share a Post or Status update as a ‘text’ or ‘image’, Go to the Home Page via the hamburger button or type the URL address (japahouse.com), and follow the steps below.

9. When someone sends you a friend request or messages, please check the top of the home page.

10. Follow the steps below to create Groups for people with like-minds (Sport, Travel, Finance, Fashion, Food, etc.).

11. Fill in all the blank fields in each section (Details, Settings, Forum, Photo, Cover Image, and Invites) of the Group you intend creating. Make sure you complete all the steps.

12. Follow Us on Social Media sites (Instagram and Twitter)

13. To change your password, visibility and email notices, Click on your Profile Picture Icon and then Settings. See the steps below.

14. To Log Out, Click on your Profile Picture Icon at the top of the page, then Click Log Out from the dropdown menu.
